Tab Search for Google Sheets — Keyboard Tab Switcher

Tab Search for Google Sheets adds a fast, keyboard-driven quick switcher to Google Sheets. Press Shift twice on any open spreadsheet and a centered search box appears listing every sheet tab in that workbook. Type to fuzzy-filter the tab you want, use the arrow keys to move the selection, and press Enter to jump straight to it — no more scrolling a long row of tabs at the bottom of the screen or reaching for the mouse.

It works by reading the tab names Google Sheets already renders in its own on-page tab bar, and switches the active tab by triggering the same sequence of pointer and click events a real click would produce. There is no Google API involved, no OAuth sign-in, and no access to the contents of your spreadsheet cells — only the visible tab names.

What it does

How to use it

Install the extension, open any Google Sheets spreadsheet, and press Shift twice to open the switcher. Start typing part of a tab's name, watch the list narrow, and press Enter (or click) to jump to that tab. On a workbook with dozens of tabs — monthly models, trackers, dashboards — this replaces scrolling the tab strip entirely.

Purchases for the Pro upgrade are handled by ExtensionPay, a third-party payment processor, on ExtensionPay's own checkout page — this extension never sees or stores payment details.

Install: Add Tab Search for Google Sheets to Chrome.
